There’s not much call for F# programmers. In all of the United States, there are 120 jobs for F#, compared to 48,596 for Java, 15,008 for Ruby, 10,891 for Perl, and 6,383 for Groovy, at the time of writing, according to Indeed.com.

Moreover, whatever technical qualities F# may have, I’m sure they’re not much different from other functional languages like Elixir, Haskell, and Scala.
