Well, isn’t the human brain essentially a computer? A very complex one, albeit, but one that we haven’t yet learned how to properly simulate. The human brain may not necessarily run on algorithms. However it operates, we don’t quite yet understand the issues. In principle, then, we can eventually figure it out and achieve human-like intelligence, perhaps surpassing it. Can a robot be imbued with “intuition?” Why not?
