This is utter nonsense. Java is still the preferred Android programming language (Kotlin is way, way behind). Java is still the preferred enterprise programming language for applications such as ERP. Web frameworks like Spring, JSF, Struts, and Vaadin are still widely used. Java continues to be used for embedded applications.
