The Guardian tries to besmirch Richard Edelman’s reputation

As you guys know, I frequently cite the Edelman Trust Barometer to show the level of government trust in China vis-à-vis in Western countries. The Guardian realizes how influential Edelman is and so it has targeted Edelman in its reporting over the past couple of years (November 2023, January 2023, December 2022).

The Guardian cites Western sources that are clearly biased against non-democratic countries. These sources NEVER provide definitive evidence for malfeasance at Edelman. They rely on innuendo.

Here is some food for thought…

Edelman has more than 60 offices in countries around the world: Asia Pacific (Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam), Canada (Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver), Europe (Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Spain, UK), Middle East & Africa (South Africa, UAE), Latin America (Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico), United States (Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington DC).

Why does The Guardian presume that UAE and Saudi Arabia have outsized influence on Edelman? Do Japan, Germany, UK, and USA not have any significant influence? Having 40% and 30% government trust for USA and UK, respectively, is totally humiliating.
