Over the past four years, I’ve been a staunch advocate for the Smalltalk programming language. I’ve published many dozens of articles and I’ve promoted them through social media like Twitter, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, Reddit, Hacker News, and Quora.
However, I’ve learned that the Great Firewall of China has blocked Medium (where my articles reside), Twitter, Facebook, Google+, YouTube, and many others.
This drastically diminishes the ability of the Chinese to discover my advocacy and prevents them from employing one of the greatest programming tools ever invented.
So this new blog is specifically targeting China and her people. Some feeble attempt to translate articles into Chinese will be made. Let the programming people’s revolution begin…
If somebody would post this on Chinese social media (like Weibo or Renren or CSDN.net), it would be most appreciated. Thanks.
