And, btw, SPA does not completely eliminate the backend roundtrip issue. It still has to communicate with the server for many types of operations. SPA mitigates but does not eliminate.

In the best case, SPA does indeed perform very well. However, you overlook the worst case where SPA has little to no advantage at all. Unless the tech articles I’ve been reading are misleading or lying…
