By the way, if you would like to know the current screen resolution that the Pi is using, there are several Terminal commands you could use:

fbset -s

or

xdpyinfo  | grep 'dimensions:'

or

xrandr | grep '*'

My screen resolution is 1824 x 984, which is very odd but perfectly usable. If you need to change it, you can use Menu→Preferences→Raspberry Pi Configuration and click on ‘Set Resolution…’.
