I'd say Clojure, Elixir and Julia are very notable.

Smalltalk is not Brainfuck.

VisualAge for Smalltalk didn't get a chance because of the rise of Java. But it did transition into the Java world.

Go is still pretty small and simple. The Google team was very careful to add generics but don't expect any major changes moving forward.
