It’s perfectly relevant because Pharo is Smalltalk. Smalltalk is a family of languages that share the same essential syntax. So, for example:
Squeak is Smalltalk
GNU Smalltalk is Smalltalk
Dolphin Smalltalk is Smalltalk
Cincom’s VisualWorks is Smalltalk
GemTalk Systems’ GemStone/S is Smalltalk
