I should think it’s pretty obvious. The United States are, and have been, the principal driver of the IT industry for the past 60 years (for the entire history of modern computer technology!). FORTRAN came out in 1957 from IBM; LISP in 1958 from MIT; COBOL in 1959 from U.S. DoD. C language and Unix came from Bell Labs in the early 1970s. Smalltalk came from Xerox PARC in 1972.
The United States absolutely dominate Information Technology.
