I hear a lot of good things about Clojure. I’ve never used Lisp-style languages, so I can’t comment much beyond this. I do think it’s a great choice for anyone who wants a JVM alternative to Java. I would prefer Clojure over Scala, for example.

I hear Clojure has excellent support for concurrency. I believe it’s fantastic for front-end web development (ClojureScript). I prefer any transpiled language to directly using JavaScript.
