I appreciate your comments. I also understand your fondness for Julia and Lisp. I respect these languages, too.

To be clear, I think Python is an okay language. I don’t really hate it. I just think we can do a lot better than Python (hint, hint, Smalltalk).

I dislike Python’s syntactical style, but that’s just me. And, yes, Python has been oversold. Honestly, with the exception of Python’s third-party library support, there isn’t anything that Python can do that Smalltalk can’t do, and do much better!
