High-performance applications may exhibit problems but Rust is no panacea. Until you experience both languages in production, you can't know for sure that one is better than the other. It's important not to make unwarranted assumptions.

I don't want to sound like a Go fan-boy (I admire and respect Rust, and I'm a Smalltalk evangelist), I just want to present a more balanced assessment.
