For you, yes. However, Squeak can be used for many, many different kinds of applications, e.g., data science, AI, Internet of Things, industrial control, virtual reality, mobile apps, etc., that don't require native threads.

As I indicated in my article, Squeak is great for beginners, students, and hobbyists. There is no better way to learn object-oriented programming. Squeak supports functional constructs, too, so in a very real sense, Squeak is multiparadigm.

Nobody pretends that any programming language is good for all kinds of applications. There simply is no such thing as the perfect or universal programming language.
