Apparently, you are ignorant about Smalltalk and object-oriented programming. Smalltalk is a message-based language. Those “keywords” you’re referring to are messages that belong to specific object classes.

Do you call the methods in Java classes “keywords?” Of course not. They are not part of the language, and neither are Smalltalk’s messages.

And, yes, this article is an advert for Smalltalk. Don’t you know who I am? I’m a prominent Smalltalk evangelist!
