Agree totally. I’m a retired software engineer. In my 30-year career, I’ve used numerous languages like FORTRAN, Tandem TAL, C, C++, C#, Objective-C, Java, JavaScript, Python, and Go. Then I tried Smalltalk. It completely blew me away!

I’ve even played with LISP and I still found Smalltalk superior. The language is super-easy to learn and super-productive to use. I would teach Smalltalk to young children but I sure as hell wouldn’t teach LISP!
